A C Bacon is pleased to announce that we are the first structural steelwork contractor to receive this accreditation from Mansell. To achieve this, members of our work force have attended seminars and completed online assessments. This includes pledging to ‘Make Safety Personal’ by leading by example, acknowledging safe behaviour, speaking up about unsafe behaviour and being receptive.

Our target is to achieve the following:

• Zero fatalities
• Zero injuries to the public
• Zero permanently disabling injuries
• No long term harm to health
• An Accident Frequency Rate (AFR) of less than 0.1 by end of 2012

We are proud to have achieved this accreditation, which shows our continued commitment to ensuring Health & Safety is our number one priority.

A C Bacon are already CHAS registered and have won National Safety Awards from the British Safety Council for five consecutive years.
