A C Bacon have completed the supply and installation of structural steelwork and associated works for the new Ormiston Bushfield Academy building at Peterborough.
The scope of the works include:
500 tonnes of Structural Steelwork.
Geodesic roof structure.
Shop applied shear studs.
Cold-rolled roof purlins.
Hire, installation & dismantling of ‘Easi-edge’ edge protection.
Offload and installation of 1,500 pre-cast concrete planks.
Supply and installation of galvanised steel angle to the perimeter of the pre-cast floor.
Total build area covered: 6200m2.
