APPRENTICES

Location: Hingham, Norfolk

Due to the expansion of the company and in order to achieve our future growth plans we are currently looking for a Drawing office apprentice and a Welding apprentice. The ideal drawing office candidate will have good mathematical and IT skills, be keen to learn, have excellent timekeeping skills and be interested in a career in construction. The Welding apprentice will have more practical hands on type skills as well as being keen to learn, have excellent timekeeping skills and be interested in a career in construction.

WELDERS AND PLATERS

 Location: Hingham, Norfolk

Due to the expansion of the company and in order to achieve our future growth plans, we are now recruiting Platers and Welders.

We are especially looking for experienced platers and welders who can be trained to operate our Welding Equipment. This will involve working on light, medium and heavy fabrications in our fabrication facility.

The ideal candidates will have the ability to work to engineering drawings and to be able to produce high quality work.  All candidates must have up to date certificates and be able to show evidence of a minimum of 2 years experience. Immediate start for the successful candidates.

SITE SUPERVISOR/PROJECT ENGINEER

Location: Hingham, Norfolk and across all of our sites (Typically East Anglia but sometimes further afield)

Working between our various sites you will be responsible for managing staff and sub contracted staff, ensuring that procedures are followed, setting performance targets and communicating with managers. Your primary responsibilities will be to make sure that work is completed on the site, to ensure compliance with company procedures and to create performance metrics.

You will need to be familiar with the company's internal processes and procedures.You will often be required to train staff members or adjust internal processes to meet government or safety requirements.

Good interpersonal skills are required to ensure that positive and collaborative working relationships are established with internal and external colleagues, as well as a thorough and professional approach to work. Conflict resolution, negotiation and time management skills are a prerequisite. Candidates should be first line managers, have supervisory responsibilities or have the potential to become supervisors within the construction industry.
